CLEVELAND, Ohio - About 20 percent of registered voters in Cuyahoga County have cast a ballot in the primary election as of 5 p.m., according to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

Officials had predicted a turnout of just under 30 percent.

According to the most recent update, 71,894 absentee ballots have been cast compared to 100,625 at polling places.

The Dem vs Repuke number is good news, I guess. But 19.5%? Good grief, Cleveland ...

Cincinnati's mayor (a total dweeb) got elected in an election with 16.5% turnout. And it was close. So 8.25% of registered voters put him in office.

Welcome to democracy...it belongs to those who show up.
