Neighbors call cops on 12-year-old black kid for delivering newspapers

Bob Brigham 10 JUL 2018 AT 12:36 ET

Police in Ohio are denying that racial profiling played any part after police confronted a 12-year-old black paperboy in the latest scandal over people calling 9-1-1 to report “completely benign” behavior by people of color.

The child’s mother posted a Facebook post on Friday explaining the police response to delivering newspapers on the “first day” of the child’s paper route.

Someone in the neighborhood noticed that a child walked up to a house empty handed and left the porch with something in their hand. It turned out the newspaper (one of these advertisements) had been delivered to the wrong address. The neighbor called 911 because they thought it was suspicious. The scene was cleared as soon as the newspapers were shown to the police officer.

their cell phones.

Let's continue to turn the tables on them and weaponize our cell phone videos to record and post their racist actions online.

That just happened with the woman who was wearing a PR flag blouse who was confronted by a drunk and dumb, white racist berating her for wearing a shirt of a "foreign" country in America.

Although the cop on scene failed to take action against the drunk, the online video resulted in the dummy being charged afterwards.

Because that man obviously took exception to the skin color of the young woman in the shirt. Do you think he would have walked up to a white woman and behaved like that with a cop present ?

PLEASE.

by making 'nuisance,' harassment calls need to be curbed, or more, somehow. Fine them at least, but that's probably against the rules. This situation over an innocent, harmless boy is sickening and outrageous, like too many others.

The boy delivered a paper to the wrong house, and went back to get it.

The caller saw someone walk up to a porch empty handed, and leave with something.

With all the news stories about stolen packages from doorways,
the suspicious neighbor did the right thing.

But it got classified as racist?

Even the mother said as soon as she told the cop they were delivering papers, he left.

Are people losing their minds or what ?

This calling the police on Black people is getting insane. STOP IT. White people - before you pick up that phone, engage those two remaining brain cells you have and think about what you are about to do.

Aaaiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
