Mack's Meat Market in Lodi. Best jerky this side of Wisconsin. I'm bringing a cooler next time near and loading up on brats!

OP
Add matzoh ball soup to that corned beef and Chinese cookie at C&L's. Perfection!

If in Cleveland...Corky and Lennie's for top cut corned beef. To die for (and their Chinese black and white cookies are pretty good too).
Head down to Cincy and finish it off with some Graeter's Ice Cream. A religious experience by any measure.

(11,994 posts)4. Thanks for the tip man!
I run from Toledo to Youngstown usually. I don't get much further south than Akron or Lima so the ice cream is probably out....

For a good deli sammich in Youngstown, try Kravitz's
Sorry you were stuck in Lodi again

(11,994 posts)6. Too funny!
But Mack's made it worthwhile! I suggest you swing by when you visit the kids. Probably 1/2 hour west of Akron.... This jerky is incredible! I got mild, which has a good kick to it. And spicy Hawaiian. I'm gonna hafts stop again tomorrow before I go home. Ain't gonna be any Hawaiian left for Mrs. Glam by tomorrow....

Lodi was just a stop light on the way to I 71 from where we lived.

It's Mack's food market. Right off 224.
