Snip-"The planned 10 a.m. news conference on Monday will be held at the city's police academy on North Hague Avenue, according to a news release. Interim chief Thomas Quinlan is expected to lead the news conference and announce a host of changes to the various bureaus and units that make up the investigative wing of the Division of Police."

Snip-"A topic expected to drive much of the conversation is the department's Vice Unit, which operated for years as the primary enforcement against underage alcohol sales, illicit gambling, and most notably prostitution and sex work in Columbus. The unit came under fire in 2018 after the arrest of high-profile porn actress Stormy Daniels during her appearance at a Cleveland Avenue strip club. The arrest had appeared to have political motivations due to Daniels' ties to President Donald Trump.

Another vice officer, Andrew Mitchell, was later investigated and indicted by the federal government for allegedly using his influence as a prostitution cop to coerce sexual favors from women on the street. Mitchell remains incarcerated as that case goes forward."
