Anyone here live in Harrison county?

What is the voting base like? Or the local GOP?

Sounds like they are fundy wack jobs.

He ran radio ads last fall warning suburban women of the rapists and murderers that were going to be streaming across everyone's front yards if we let the latest "caravan" into the country.

Have long ago friends from that general area. As I recall it’s right in coal/steel mill country. Very right wing and very conservative, does not surprise me a bit that disgusting nut job Daubenmire will be speaking there.

Fewer than 10,00 of voting age, I would guess.
It would seem that the functioning Republican Party in a county that size would be very small, and couldn't afford to pay a speaker.

area was controlled by Democrats back when coal and steel was king. Since the loss of Union jobs and the election of a black man it has gone Republicon. What is sad NAFTA was a Republican bill that GHWB couldn't get passed. Under Clinton it was passed with mostly Republican votes and Clinton persuaded enough Democrats to vote for it to pass it. The Republicans have used that against Demcrats for 20 years now.
