Dayton has just passed a law requiring mask in any public location...

This includes bars, restaurants, libraries, any indoor public gathering place, and outdoor public areas (streets, parks, sidewalks, etc.). Effective tonite at 8:00pm. $85 fine for violations.

I am actually taking a business trip to north of Cincinnati tomorrow to a hospital. Doing a survey of a vacate building that we are doing the engineering portion of the design. First time I have left the immediate area since February!

Things fine here, in southern MD/Calvert County, watching ospreys etc. and observing rules.

Daughter+ moved from P.G. to 6 miles away from me, on Patuxent River, and had a baby girl 1 year ago tomorrow, so her 5 year old brother has a constant companion; daughter teaching them both. They're in Ocean City now (@ their small condo,) so I haven't seen them, nor have I seen daughter + grands in NJ; will venture up there some time. Everyone's waiting for schools to resume, but who knows?

But most of the other mayors are GOP, and they're wholly owned subsidiaries of businesses who'd rather lose employees to death from COVID than institute mask policies...
