Ohio
Related: About this forumOhio is having another primary Tuesday. I don't really understand why
something about Congressional maps not being approved. Does anyone know? Does it apply to
people we voted for in the first primary like Tim Ryan?

(177 posts)This is the primary for the state house districts. I voted early, but the democrat in my district was unopposed. I assume many are, I think that's why we haven't heard much about it.

(19,033 posts)and the May 3 Primary went ahead with several campaigns up in the air because the r's were working on another district map. It too, was submitted and then rejected by the Ohio Supreme Court last week. Probably the same map with some sharpie marks.
I think all of the candidates who were affected by the r's incompentence were put into a special primary August 2. I knew it was coming up, and I am irritated that I had to vote in 2 primaries because r's don't know what they're doing and don't bother to learn.

I have been checking Ballotopedia (?) before I vote, so I can make a better decision about who I am voting for, even in the primaries. I saw that all 3 Dems on the 2nd primary ballot were unopposed, and felt like passing. But then, I wanted to show support for their campaigns. Also, want to be sure I'm registered and secure to vote in the general election Nov 8, 2022
