Sen Sherrod Brown.

Sen Brown has just publicly surfaced, after stating Biden needed to consider stepping down, by stating he will not be attending the convention. He was quoted as saying he doesn’t always attend. But the local paper The Plain Dealer noted they could not find an instance when he didn’t attend, even if it was for one day. It also appears as though he does not want the Harris/Walz campaign to come to Ohio for him.
Question?
Why is he doing this? How does this help him get votes. Over on Connie Schultz’s FB page, some have commented that he needs to join the joy of the Harris team and mentions Sharrod should not adopt Tim Ryan’s strategy.

recommendation for Biden to drop out, let alone shun his party’s convention.

Reading the latest numbers in Ohio is encouraging. Over 11,000 people contacted the party to volunteer for Harris and the 30 and under voter registration numbers have exploded.

The party faithful are ready work for the entire slate.

is a huge mistake! It's all about inspiring and motivating the Dem base to GOTV in Ohio. He needs to be embracing and promoting progressive policies; not distancing himself from them. As the top of the ticket is inspirational and has voters energized, his reluctance to share in this enthusiasm is extremely disappointing and counterproductive.

acknowledge it is to be tone deaf to the new found enthusiasm at the grassroots. I’m calling his campaign tomorrow.
