Judge tosses Ohio man's case to get Harris off state ballot

YELLOW CREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – A lawsuit to get Vice President Kamala Harris off the Ohio ballot, filed by a Columbiana County man in federal court, has been dismissed.

The ruling was entered Thursday in the U.S. Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Donald Vos filed the complaint against Secretary of State Frank LaRose on Aug. 1, saying that the Ohio Constitution doesn’t allow President Joe Biden “to bow out of the race for [the presidency] in 2024 and to be replaced by any other Democrat.”

Vos sought a restraining order and permanent injunction from the federal court to prevent the Secretary of State from replacing Joe Biden with anyone else on the ballot.
