Harrison Twp. voters to see replacement levy on ballot this election

HARRISON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) — A replacement levy will be on the ballot for Harrison Twp. this election season, continuing the same millage residents currently pay.

The 4-mill replacement levy is expected to generate $1.4 million annually over the next five years. Homeowners will pay approximately $140 per $100,000 of appraised property value.

Funds support park maintenance, neighborhood development, code enforcement and emergency response. If it fails to pass, the township may face budget cuts, service reductions or increased fees.
