Sidney voters will see 2 levies on their ballot this election

SIDNEY, Ohio (WDTN) — Sidney residents will see two levies on the ballot when casting their votes this election season.

Our partners at Sidney Daily News report both are income tax levies proposing a 0.25 percent increase in taxes onto the 1.5 percent city taxes in place now.

The first levy is for the city’s police and fire department. Money cannot be used for building and instead would go towards salaries, benefits, training and equipment.
