sales tax on groceries is unconscionable.

But it's nice to know that Governor Fallin is trying to push through tax cuts for the state's most wealthy citizens during this legislative session. Because it worked so well during the Bush era...

This is what people get when they vote for Republicans.

There is this whole use tax thing going on to make poorer people 'pay their fair share'.

So families with incomes below the poverty line must now pay additional taxes to purchase things.

Those who defend this make it sound like the wealthy share a higher burden, yet they eat and dress themselves in a similar fashion. In fact, an upper middle class person is more likely to use web services to purchase items from other states to avoid paying any state sales tax at all or they will order things from their tax-dodging second home, or tax-dodging business and have it shipped to their home from there.
