Seven of eight propositions pass in Broken Arrow bond election

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The results are in for elections across Green Country. People gathered in Broken Arrow for a watch party on the city’s $415 million bond package.

They got mixed results with propositions one through seven passing and proposition eight being voted against.

The propositions that passed address things like transportation, public safety, and public facilities as well as stormwater drainage, and a new library.

Proposition eight which failed would have created a new five-year sales tax to upgrade sports facilities.
