Muskogee man gets four-year prison sentence for bomb threat against Catoosa port company

CLAREMORE — A Rogers County judge sentenced a Muskogee man to four years in prison after he pleaded no contest to calling in a bomb threat to a company that had fired him.

Robert Dwayne Perry Jr., 43, appeared in Rogers County District Court on Thursday and was given a four-year prison sentence to run concurrently with a felony robbery conviction from Muskogee County, records show.

The sentence was imposed after Perry entered a plea of no contest to a charge of making a telephone bomb threat.

Authorities say Perry called 911 on Jan. 29, 2015, and reported that “there is a bomb at the Linde Corporation in the Port of Catoosa and will go off in an hour.”
