I was far less allergic to eastern Mass, but still miserable for about a month every single year.

Here in NM, the cat sneezes more than I do in juniper/mulberry season.

....what you're probably allergic to by finding when your symptoms are the worst. I should really invest the time and find out what, specifically, it is that irritates me. Because when it hits me, my eyes feel like sandpaper marbles in my head- along with all the other stuffiness, etc., that comes with allergies.

Trees, grass and flowers.

Trust me, I'm in heaven here in the desert.

Neither my wife nor I have pollen allergies or asthma but I have close friends who dread the coming of spring because of them. We're a little way up the McKenzie so don't experience all the big valley weather, field burning, etc.

Guess we didn't help the air quality issues over the weekend: torched the burn pile on Saturday (very dry so not much smoke) and had the grass cut on our little 7 acre field for hay. I love the sweet smell of the grass as it drys.

I used to live in Oregon's dark orange area and never had an allergy ever. I now live in yellow UT and I have no problems but 2 in my family have it fairly bad. But the only place I have ever suffered allergies was when I was in South Carolina in dark green. Odd man out I guess.
