Happy New Year Oregonians!

I note that we have no new original posts since January 1, 2012.

Get up off your asses boys and girls! It's a New Year and I expect you all to carry on the Oregon tradition. Let us not be like California. Don't bitch, piss and moan. Don't expect anyone to be your leader.

The Oregon Trail ended here. We are the Pioneers!

Between fixin' the broken axle on my 1843 Conestoga, fightin' Indians, and diggin' a new privy on my donation land claim, there's just no time, I tell ya.

Gotta go, farmer's market at Champoeg today.

Off to Champoeg, huh? The birthplace of Oregon. The 153rd anniversary of statehood is fast approaching--February 14th.

A happy and prosperous 2012 to all my fellow Oregonians from over here East of the Cascades! Let us resolve to stay strong and focused!
