New presumptive positive coronavirus case confirmed in Montgomery County, bringing state total to 10
NORRISTOWN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Officials have announced additional presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 in Montgomery County, bringing the state total in Pennsylvania to 10.
On Monday, county officials said a Children's Hospital of Philadelphia doctor working at a facility in King of Prussia tested presumptive positive for COVID-19.
"The fifth case is a Montgomery County adult who resides in Upper Merion Township, is a cardiologist, working for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the King of Prussia outpatient facility," said Dr. Valerie A. Arkoosh, Chair, Montgomery County Board of Commissioners.
The State of Pennsylvania says six others are also being treated in the county, including a Lower Merion Township couple, a man in Worcester and a woman in Lower Gwynedd Township. The locations of two other individuals have not yet been announced.
