Brackenridge, PA, woman accused of assaulting man who paid less than promised for sex

A Brackenridge, PA, (21 miles NE of Pittsburgh) woman is accused of assaulting and trying to stab a man who police said paid her less for sex than promised. State police charged Audra Lynn Divittorio, 33, with aggravated assault, prostitution and other charges in connection with the Oct. 28 incident. She was taken to Westmoreland County jail after failing to post $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing scheduled for Tuesday was continued until Dec. 1.

A criminal complaint filed in the case said police responded to an apartment where they found a man with swelling, bruising and a deep cut around his left eye. The man, who had not been charged as of Tuesday, told police he met Divittorio in New Kensington and they made plans to have sex in his apartment in exchange for him paying her $26.

However, police said the man told them he gave Divittorio only $5 at the apartment. When she demanded more money, police said the man told her he didn’t have any. The man told police Divittorio became irate and repeatedly hit him in the head and attacked him with a kitchen knife, cutting his hand, the complaint said.

Divittorio destroyed the man’s phone when he tried to call 911, according to the complaint. The man ran out of the apartment and used an acquaintance’s phone to call police. When police interviewed the man at his apartment, they said they found a clear glass pipe that the man said Divittorio used to smoke methamphetamine. Police found more drug paraphernalia in the bedroom and suspected drugs. The man told police the items belonged to Divittorio.

He too should have been charged with prostitution and drug possession (unless she claimed the drugs).

He's a role model for deplorable people & meth heads. His history of not paying for services rendered has emboldened the underbelly of the nation. Sad. Pathetic.
