Biden and Harris to visit Pittsburgh on Labor Day

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Pittsburgh on Labor Day.

The White House announced that the president and vice president will hold a campaign event in Pittsburgh on Monday, Sept. 2. No other details were immediately released.

The Harris-Walz campaign says the stop is part of a Labor Day blitz in battleground states. Before she joins Biden in Pittsburgh for their first joint event since she accepted the Democratic presidential nomination, Harris will visit Detroit.

Her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will spend Labor Day in Milwaukee and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff will be in Newport News, Virginia.

The events on Labor Day will highlight "the importance of American workers and unions to building a strong middle class and growing the economy," the campaign says.

We really have to beat polls and run up scores in Philly, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh. PA polling scares me.

... and they hardly ever give advance information about Dem candidates and when they're coming to Pittsburgh. Of course they write it up after it happened, but they don't usually give info in advance of an event.

It's frustrating as hell, but they went all out for Chump ... even though we're a BLUE city and county. The Post-Gazette is owned by the Block Family and John Block the CEO is a notorious ChumpHumper.

Long story short, I DO want to find out where Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will appear in Pittsburgh, and I hope to post it here.
