'PA Fair Elections' election denial group set to observe Lancaster County voting machines
A group called PA Fair Elections, led by a conservative activist with ties to powerful Republicans, is approved to observe Lancaster County elections officials test voting machines ahead of the November election.
The Lancaster County Board of Elections granted PA Fair Elections access to observe logic and accuracy testing, which is closed to the public but open to certain organizations, candidates and the political parties.
The mandatory testing, which begins today, involves a series of pre-election steps to make sure equipment such as ballot scanners is working correctly, according to a March 2024 directive from the Pennsylvania Department of State.
Melissa Ellis and Seeran Mizii are listed as PA Fair Elections representatives on documents obtained from the county through a right-to-know request.
