Voters will start receiving requested mail-in ballots within days, Allegheny Election Division says

PITTSBURGH — The Allegheny County Elections Division issued a statement Thursday saying that requested mail-in ballots will start to be delivered within days.

Voters who requested a mail-in ballot for the Nov. 5 election should receive their ballot as early as Saturday or through next week, the statement says.

The deadline for Allegheny County residents to request a mail-in ballot for the election is Oct. 29. Click here for more information about mail-in ballots and how to request one.

Mail ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day. The county says a ballot will not be counted if it is submitted without a secrecy envelope, unsigned, or with an incorrect date on the declaration envelope.
