I attended a local school board meeting last year to discuss book bans. The hall was packed with angry rightwing christian activists agitating for eliminating everything but the bible from school curriculums. It was obviously orchestrated by Republican dark money funding local church groups.

It's how Republicans have taken over many local and state governments; their dark money funders organize these astroturf movements. Now the GOP is deathly afraid of their own angry constituents, the real grassroots activists.

I guess his phoney I'm not really that bad of a Republican crap wouldn't hold up in a town hall. I would surely be there. And nobody had ever offered me any dark money.

He still owes me a check. No one is paying people to protest, the anger is real.
