PA-01: Upcoming Horsham Town Hall to Introduce 3 Democratic Congressional Candidates

Bucks County voters will have an opportunity to meet three out of four of its Democratic congressional candidates in an upcoming town hall Tuedsay evening.

Rob Strickler, Lucia Simonelli, and Tracy Hunt will host a town hall in Horsham on Jan. 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. All three candidates are running for the incumbent Republican Brian Fitzpatrick’s PA-01 congressional seat in 2026, but must first face front-runner Bob Harvie in the May primary.

Strickler, an eyewear company manager, announced his bid in July, dubbing himself a “political outsider” running on protecting democracy, lowering taxes for low and middle-income Americans, and addressing campaign finance reform.

Simonelli, a director of programs for a non-profit focused on carbon removal, announced her bid in December. Simonelli is interested in addressing America’s health care needs, electric utility costs, and continuing reliance on fossil fuels to maintain persistent electricity.

I think he'll be hard to beat in a primary, and is a very strong candidate against Fitzpatrick.
