PA-HD79: McCoy (D), Verobish (R) Look to Replace Schmitt in Blair County Special Election
Three more special elections are on the state docket next Tuesday, March 17.
In the 79th Legislative District, Democrat Caleb McCoy and Republican Andrea Verobish meet to fill out the remaining term of Lou Schmitt, who resigned from his seat to become a judge on the Blair County Court of Common Pleas.
Two separate elections will be held for the 2027-28 term – a primary on May 17 and the general election on November 5.
