'Soar to the polls' event educates Columbia on all elections' value

Columbia, S.C. (WACH) — It is now less than two months before the presidential election.

Many around the country are urging people who are eligible to vote to go out and make their voice heard.

This weekend in Columbia, voting advocates hosting a public forum at Columbia high school to spread the word about the importance of voting.


“You have a lot of young people in this room, that are doing what is now our torch to be passed.” said attorney and former state lawmaker Bakari Sellers
