how to report voting problems in SC

South Carolina voters who run into problems at the polls can call a toll-free number for assistance.

Voters can call 866-OUR-VOTE for nonpartisan help Tuesday on a hotline coordinated by the Lawyers Committee on Civil Rights Under the Law.

A release from the group says that problems that can't be solved by the national call center are immediately directed to voting rights groups in South Carolina.

Voters who call will get a response within minutes from a South Carolina attorney or trained volunteers. The nonpartisan hotline deals only with voting problems and does not provide information about candidates or issues.
