Former Southaven Alderman Ronnie Hale's prostitution case continued until April

Former Southaven Alderman Ronnie Hale will return to court April 26 on a charge of procuring a prostitute after the DeSoto County Justice Court continued a hearing Thursday.

Anthony Farese, Hale's attorney, said the case was continued because he hasn't received all the prosecution's discovery.

Hale was charged in November with promising a woman money for sex, according to the affadavit.

During a search of Hale's electronic devices under a warrant resulting from the prostitution charge, officers found sexually explicit images and videos of minors. He was charged with possession of child pornography in a separate case.
