"This Sunday, starting at noon, Lou Sur Place (1304 McGavock Pike) is turning the patio into a sugar-filled wonderland of baked goods made by some of Nashville's very best bakers, chefs and treat makers, all to benefit the local chapter of the ACLU.
Look at this list of participants: Lisa Donovan (she won a James Beard Award!), Rebekah Turshen of City House (she makes some of the very best desserts in Nashville!) and Sean Brock of Joyland and Audrey (he's up for a James Beard Award this year!). Plus: Conny and Jonny doughnuts (voted Best Doughnuts, Writers' Choice in last year's Best of Nashville issue!), Brightside Bakeshop (look at the croissants and brioche they make!) and HiFi Cookies (look at the cookies they make!)!
THERE ARE MORE! Many more, I am just exhausted from typing all these names! See them all here.
At the sale, Lou says via Instagram that "there will be clear 6 foot indicators while waiting in line, and a host to screen and limit guests while shopping." If you want to avoid crowds, Lou will also be offering a preorder option which goes live this Friday "around noon" on Lou's website for anyone who prefers curbside pickup.
All items are $5 each, and organizers will be taking only debit/credit cards as payment. Worth noting: Last year Lou did a similar bake sale, and they sold out within a couple hours.".. ..(more)
