"The 4th annual InterNASHional Night Market featured more than 25 local international restauranteurs, food vendors, and performers for an exciting night of tastings, performances, and community. Hosted by the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC), the InterNASHional Night Market has quickly become one of Nashville’s can't-miss cultural events.
.....
The InterNASHional Night Market is the signature event of TIRRC’s annual InterNASHional Food Series which brings diverse communities together to build cross-cultural connections and understanding and to celebrate the culinary art of dozens of Nashville’s finest immigrant and refugee restaurant entrepreneurs. This series is a mission-advancing fundraiser that supports TIRRC’s Belonging work (formerly Welcoming Tennessee Initiative (WTI)) throughout the year. Our Belonging program involves events and activities seeking to build solidarity between immigrant and non-immigrant communities in Nashville and beyond.
TIRRC’s staff members spend time in the months before the InterNASHional Night Market building relationships with restaurant owners, immigrant and refugee chefs, and cultural performance groups, reaching new community members and connecting them to our mission and services. In 2024, our InterNASHional Night Market is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, and we expect to continue to build upon the success of our previous events and welcome at least 500 guests from the greater Nashville community to TIRRC’s headquarters in Antioch to join us for a night of culinary exploration, diversity, and community building.

Nashville, renowned for its rich musical heritage, is also a vibrant tapestry of global cultures and diverse communities. The city's dynamic international population contributes to a thriving cultural scene, showcasing a variety of traditions, cuisines, and artistic expressions from around the world. This blend of global influences creates a unique and enriching experience, making Nashville a grand forum of cultures. Be a part of making the InterNASHional Night Market happen."...
