Who is running for the Ozark school board? Here are the 3 candidates

Note: This story was complete before Matthew Growcock was appointed late Monday afternoon to fill a seat vacated by Guy Callaway, who stepped down at the end of 2024. The appointment means only three of the four certified candidates will appear on the April 8 ballot.

One incumbent is among the three candidates vying for two open seats on the Ozark school board this spring.

Sarah Adams Orr, first elected to the board in 2012, is running again. Mark Jenkins, the president of the board, has served since 2022 and is not running for a second term.

The other candidates are Rae-Ann Wade and Wade Wheeler.
