ATTN TEXAS JEWS: Online Threat Targets Texas Synagogue
Online Threat Targets Texas Synagogue
Earlier today, ADL and our partners at SCN were made aware by federal law enforcement of an anonymous and unconfirmed online threat of an individual potentially intending to carry out an attack on an unidentified synagogue in Texas. The credibility of the potential threat and identity of the subject are unknown at this time. Out of an abundance of caution, we encourage community organizations to remain vigilant and report any suspicious persons and/or activity to local law enforcement immediately.
ADL will continue to work with our local, state, and federal law enforcement as well as community security partners to determine the credibility of this threat, and provide relevant updates, as necessary.
Report Suspicious Activity
Follow established protocols to report suspicious activity to include contacting local law enforcement and/or the relevant suspicious activity reporting authority and contact the SCN Duty Desk at dutydesk@securecommunitynetwork.org or by calling 844-SCN-DESK. We also ask that you report suspicious or hate-related activity to ADL at www.adl.org/reportincident.
I just (a minute ago) got this alert from the regional ADL chapter.
