and I bet not a one of them is going to make an effort to actually campaign against the Pig and his hold on cultist base.

They are all going to run against Biden. The lot of them are going to be shills for the Pig's scams.

If he proves to not be invulnerable to prosecution, he's going to lose his luster very quickly.

They each think they can swoop in and gather the affection of his base.

They may be right, as I predict his most devoted followers are going to act like doomsday cultists after the deadline passes, and be exceedingly vulnerable to any suitable replacement shaman who projects enough confidence, power and total disregard for what anyone thinks of him.

Also, interesting angle you pointed out - both Abbott & DeSantis are Catholics.
