Related: About this forumSuccessful Texas teen leader (accepted to Harvard) leaving Texas due to ban on trans health care
This class president is the model of a successful Texas teen. After a ban on trans health care, she cant wait to leave the state. Texas is losing an outstanding young leader due to this stupid law and Greg being an asshole

Topher Malone was sprinting through her final days of high school: On Friday, she led a Gender-Sexuality Alliance club meeting, then stood before a rapt audience of National Honors Society juniors eager to hear how Malone got in to Harvard.....
By every standard, Malone is a model of a successful young woman: Shes a straight-A student and class president at Round Rock Independent School Districts Early College High School, she attends national youth leadership conferences and shes raised money to support the school group she leads.
Malone is also trans. Malone says having access to gender-affirming treatments before she turned 18 in May allowed her to embrace her true self and channel her energy into her advocacy for LGBTQ youth.....
Malone told the lawmakers that shed applied to colleges in Texas. But as soon as she received an offer from a college outside of Texas Columbia University in New York, which came before her acceptance to Harvard she had decided to leave the state.
I dont want to stay here for college anymore because of what this state government is doing to trans people like me, and I cant stand it anymore, Malone told the committee members.

An arc of blue from CA, AZ, NM, to TX will be a touchstone of GOP despair.

Texas will turn blue and when it does the GOP will have no chance of winning the electoral college

Why not work for it? A blue Texas will go a long way to locking the GOP out of the White House.

and the Federal and State level. But I never give up. I walk every day (walkingman) and have actually been brushed off the road by rednecks. Especially when I had on my Obama tshirt.
