He is lucky there was a washer / dryer in the living room. You can hear bullets pinging off it. BlueWaveNeverEnd Wednesday #5
Looking out the window? That's not properly "taking cover." Martin68 Wednesday #6
the bullets are still flying, he looks out but then runs. BlueWaveNeverEnd Wednesday #7
I suggest that if firearms are being discharged in the vicinity, you should retreat to an inner room with no windows - Martin68 Yesterday #8

up a tactical position in the attic with his BAR? Or flanking the attackers, taking out the weaker side (hey, nobody’s suggesting he should go head-on against them) then make a strategic retreat, drawing them in to an area where he has the advantage? And jeez…let’s not kid ourselves…here he is walking around in broad daylight in his own home without his body armor on. And his protection animals obviously haven’t been trained well.

i dunno…maybe he’ll learn a lesson from this.

If only there was something we could do about gun violence other than more guns.

such as a bathroom - and lie on the floor in the fetal position to offer the smallest possible profile possible. Running outside offers the perpetrators an easy target, and I doubt people planning a home invasion would be shooting off their guns outside to warn their victims ahead of time. I'm just being realistic and practical. That kid was risking his life presenting his face to a window. Even if he wasn't hit by a bullet, he could be scarred for life by broken glass.
