Early voting opens in election to fill vacant Sherman City Council seat
SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - Polls opened for early voting on Wednesday to fill the vacant Sherman City Council District 1 seat.
Clay Barnett, Casie Rivas, and Sandra Melton are the three candidates in the race for the position.
Sherman residents can cast their early votes at the Grayson County Election Administration from now until September 10.
Early voting times:
Wednesday through Friday, August 28-30, 2024 - 8 am to 5 pm
Tuesday through Friday, September 3-6, 2024 - 8 am to 5 pm
Monday through Tuesday, September 9-10, 2024 - 8 am to 5 pm
The Special Election Day is on September 14.
