Under the old system, on Election Day one could only vote at the voting location for their precinct. I testified in the Commissioners Court hearing on this change to the county wide voting system.. Now a Harris County voter can vote at any voting center instead at the voting location for such voters assigned precinct. County wide voting centers are far more flexible compared to precinct voting. Voting centers are located at convenient locations and can process large number of voters. If one voting center goes down, we can have voters sent to other voting centers.

of elections in Harris County now.
