George Wallace should have taught them that, but Texas isn't known for following or even knowing about history. Especially recent US History. They're still "fighting" that war the Southern States lost more than 150 years ago.

FYI, George Wallace was the Governor of Alabama in the 1950s and 1960s back when FEDERAL law eventually made it illegal to segregate schoolchildren. He still wanted it. LBJ was FORCED to send in federal troops to help black students attend "white" schools.

This was back when the Democratic Party was full of racists, until nearly all of them left to "join" the Republican Party in the 1960s after the Civil Rights Bill was enacted by Congress.

Looks like someone in Texas (*COUGH* Governor Abbott *COUGH*) might need a refresher course on what ended up happening, especially to George Wallace.
