Winter Storm Enzo

Well he’s here in my little suburb near San Antonio. Currently it is 30 degrees with a wind chill of 19. We are experiencing light freezing rain mixed with a little snow. Radar shows light snow but I don’t see any yet.

Schools are closed here tomorrow. We are stocked up. Had beef stew tonight and gumbo on tap for tomorrow.

We are expecting maybe an inch of snow mixed with freezing rain and sleet.

Further East of me near Houston, Beaumont and Galveston (yes!) they may see 5-6 inches of snow in some places.

Stay safe my fellow Texans. Heads up to our Louisiana neighbors, too.

Light and love

Rose

A lil Jimmy Buffet for a cold few days

It’s a lil like religion
And a lot like sex
You should never know
When your gonna get it next
From midnight in he quarter
To noon in Thibodeaux
I WILL PLAY FOR GUMBO

Northern Kansas here My Friend. 14 inches of snow and a few hours above freezing the last two weeks. And not much above freezing for quite awhile

Write a Book. How I survived Enzo with Gumbo. Make every step a safe one.

20 degress and the hockey game's on
Nobody cares, they are way too far gone
Screamin', "Boat drinks"
Somethin' to keep them all warm

This morning
I shot six holes in my freezer
I think I got cabin fever
Somebody sound the alarm

I'd like to go where the pace of life's slow
Could you beam me somewhere, Mister Scott?
Any old place here on Earth or in Space
You pick the century and I'll pick the spot

I have a lot of family in Houston and this is becoming an annual event…Hurricanes n floods n freeze outs in winter. I’d love for my son to come back to Florida but he loves his wide open spaces..just like his grandfather. I hope you fare well with Enzo 🌞

Yes sounds like he is near. We are NE of San Antonio.

This doesn’t happen often but everyone freaks out! Our grocery store was nearly wiped out of food today! Just like before a hurricane.

Nah he was too busy kissing you know who’s butt.

We have a light dusting of snow this am. Very pretty.
