SAPD says suspect dead, 7 officers shot at a Stone Oak apartment complex - KSAT 12

San Antonio police said a man is dead and seven officers were shot Wednesday evening at a North Side apartment complex. KSAT 12's Zaria Oates has the latest.

Stone Oak is pretty much an upper middle class enclave in San Antonio.

The officers were responding to a suicide in progress call. The first four responders were shot one after another.

Sad day, indeed!

Person was involved in a domestic violence incident against several family members Saturday in Comal County. Was released on $35,000 bond Sunday and ordered no contact with family members.

Have not heard whether he committed suicide or was shot by SWAT.

Six of the seven officers were released from the hospital this am. All had non life threatening injuries.

How very sad.
