(892 posts)1. Well, there's one advantage to global warming.
When datas centers take all the electricity in winter it will be a bit warmer and maybe the poor wont freeze to death.

(11,107 posts)2. Texas has its own separate grid, except for the El Paso area.
So if theres a crisis, it cant get additional power from neighboring states. It purposely did this to avoid federal regulation.

Leaving his constituents to freeze to death with no power.
That state can't winterize their power grid because that would be too woke and liberal. They can't connect to neighboring grids because that would be too socialist.

And they keep re-electing their politicians anyway.
