(1,451 posts)I have an online meeting at 10:30. Going to vote immediately after. Still undecided about the senate race. I like them both, but I think I will vote based on who I think has the best chance to defeat whoever the rethuglicans put forth for the seat. We Texans have to step up to take back the senate and help save this country.

I've heard Dem turnout is higher than repub, but can't find numbers or a chart for the whole state.
Heard about populated areas, like Tarrant Co where Dems are beating repubs in turnout, which is not typical.

(36,226 posts)And if someone cares, they can find out which party you voted for. The county publishes spreadsheets and publishes them on their elections website. Yup.
For example, I voted last week and the info is already up. Folks can see that my real name & address are on the spreadsheet under dems (organized by precinct). They don't know which dem candidates I voted for, but they know that I did request the dem ballot.
