election perspective...

Senator Bernie Sanders won his home state of Vermont...but he was considerably less dominant than he was in the 2016 primary race against Hillary Clinton.

In 2016, Sanders won 86% of Vermont's vote to Hillary Clinton's 14%, meaning Sanders took all of the state's pledged delegates.

This time, Sanders got 51% of the vote with 99% precincts reporting, against multiple opponents.

That gets him 10 pledged delegates.
Joe Biden...(will) end up with 5 delegates from Vermont.
