Jay Cravens latest film, Lost Nation, to kick off 50-town Vt. tour
BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermont film director Jay Craven is taking his latest film, Lost Nation on the road across Vermont this month.
The Revolutionary War-era action drama is set in the early upstart Republic of Vermont and focuses on Ethan Allen and pioneering frontier poet and rights advocate Lucy Terry Prince, who was enslaved at the age of three in western Massachusetts and settled a Vermont homestead.
Craven and his Kingdom County Productions have produced numerous award-winning films including Where the Rivers Flow North, A Stranger in the Kingdom and Disappearances.
Cat Viglienzoni spoke with Craven about what it took to assemble Lost Nation and the upcoming Vermont 50 Town Tour that starts next week in Brattleboro and Burlington.
