VOTE EARLY:
Vermont has early voting, beginning 45 days before an election and extending through Election Day.

VOTE BY MAIL:
Vermont has absentee voting for any registered voter. A ballot can be requested up until 5:00 p.m. on the day before an election (however, we recommend giving yourself at least a month). Clerks will mail absentee ballots within the 45 days prior to an election. The clerk must then receive the completed ballot by the close of polls on Election Day in order to be counted. For the latest information on where, when and how to vote early or absentee, contact your town clerk.
