We love our state, don't we, my friend?!

With the exception of some pockets in the SW part, our Virginia just doesn't seem as much like a "southern" state but more like a Mid-Atlantic state.

It's funny when we moved down here in 2004 I hated it because it was sooo very GOP, having come from MD. But now, MD seems to be slipping and VA has just gotten bluer and bluer. Most of the heavy lift comes from NoVA, I know, but I'm grateful.

...we're building scores of data centers and huge tenement complexes to hold the workers. Not real stoked about the problems that will bring, but I expect it will make VA that much bluer.

Could get some republicans to start voting Democratic, not millions of them but just a few to help our
down ballet races.

Scary that some on "on our side" are pretending everything is just dandy.

Even on here. My jaw hits the floor every time I read an "it's OK Democrats are the majority" type of post.

I moved here to Virginia from California where I could order it to be delivered like pizza. 😀 To say I missed that is an understatement. We don’t have that kind of thing yet here but it’s so good to be legal again. Yay Virginia!
