You might want to try a different browser to see if you blocked the site in your current browser as the start for troubleshooting. Good luck and I hope that the problem is easily solved.

I would never have blocked this site, I only recently bookmarked it.

10. Oh I see what the problem is. Your browser is protecting you. The college screwed up the security

certificate for their https domain.

From my browser:

Websites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for www.hsc.edu. The certificate is only valid for secure4.hsc.edu.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

The certificate is suppose to be valid for www.hsc.edu but they erred and made it only valid for secure4.hsc.edu.

I hope they don't teach computer science at that college.

The browser you are using is enforcing https (that is making you go to the https site if it exists). You may be able to disable that for this site in your browser since the non https site http://www.hsc.edu works fine. Alternately try another browser if you have one installed.

Everything was fine last week. Now I can only access their interactive campus map, which has a different domain.

http://www.hsc.edu

is working fine but it seems your browser is enforcing https (that is making you go to the https site if it exists).

It's possible you can disable the force of https in your browser for that site or try another browser if you have one (my Firefox for example allows me to go to the http://www.hsc.edu site ).

Do email them about the https://www.hsc.edu problem though, they should fix that.

though I also removed a certificate for a server at hsc.edu. I only had three server certificates, and two were for sites I use heavily.
