Virginia Leaders Get the Word Out about Early Voting, Stakes of the Election, & Dangers of Trump's Project 2025 Agenda

This week, in a new video series released ahead of the beginning of early voting, Senator Tim Kaine, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, VA-01 Democratic nominee Leslie Mehta, Virginia Legislative Black Caucus Chair state Sen. Lamont Bagby, Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney, state Sen. Aaron Rouse, and Newport News Mayor Phillip Jones spoke directly to voters reminding them to get out and vote early starting September 20th. The elected leaders emphasized the ease, convenience, and importance of early voting, and reminded Virginians of different ways to vote early.

The stakes of the election in Virginia and across the country could not be higher, between Vice President Harris, who offers the country a New Way Forward that will build up the middle-class, and Donald Trump, who is running on a dangerous Project 2025 agenda that would raise costs for American families. Trump’s plan to ban abortion nationwide, threaten access to IVF and birth control, and raise taxes by $3,900 per year on the middle class is deeply unpopular in Virginia.

In-person early voting in Virginia begins tomorrow, Friday, September 20th. Virginians can register to vote online now through October 15th and request a vote by mail ballot through October 25th. Virginians can visit IWillVote.com for key voter information.

Senator Tim Kaine: “Believe it or not, early voting is just around the corner. No matter how you choose to vote early, it’s crucial that you make a plan to vote. This election is too important to stay on the sidelines.”
