#8 The presumptive positive case is a resident of Loudoun County who is in their 40s. The individual is believed to have come in contact with a person with COVID-19 while attending Christ Church, Georgetown in Washington, D.C., which has reported a case.
#6 & 7 The Virginia Beach Health Department announced that two residents have tested presumptive positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). These cases mark the first two cases in the Virginia Beach Health District, and the sixth and seventh cases in the Commonwealth of Virginia. ... The two patients (a male in his 60s and female in her 50s) traveled on a Nile River cruise, which recently reported COVID-19 cases. They returned to United States on March 5.
Case #8 is the first which seems to have been not related to international travel.

(18,044 posts)I'm no spring chicken and have been taking precautions for flu already. I'm a professional recluse now that I'm not working gigs.
Main worry here is TJ working at the medical center. She's not around patients or the general public so if she and her co-workers are careful they (and me by extension) have better odds than many to stay healthy.
The church may be significant. In a few more days we will know how significant.
