Chesterfield County authorities worried about flooding are evacuating homes downstream from Falling Creek Dam near Hopkins Road.

More than 150 addresses in the potential path of high water are affected by the evacuation, which includes some apartment complexes.

the lake my house sits on feeds into Falling Creek and it was a good 2 feet above the normal level earlier today. I didn't know there was a dam further down stream - my boss was living off Iron Bridge, I wonder if she's affected?
