CVS Virginia Vaccinations Update

I note on this morning's visit that more classes of recipients have been added.

Eligible now are:

* People age 65+

* Teachers K-12, Daycare and preschool workers, and staff

* Workers in one of the following fields: healthcare, fire, police, hazmat, corrections officers/staff, grocery, farmers market, food, agriculture, manufacturing, public transit, public safety, mail carriers, officials critical to maintain continuity of government, clergy, faith, janitorial, cleaning

*People age 16+ with an underlying condition that increases the risk of severe illness from COVID-19

*Staff and residents of long term care facilities

* Individuals experiencing homelessness, living in correctional facilities or migrant labor camps

As of 5:00 am, appointments are shown as available in:

Colonial Heights, VA
Danville, VA
Emporia, VA
Hampton, VA
Lynchburg, VA
Norfolk, VA
Pulaski, VA
Richlands, VA
Richmond, VA
Roanoke, VA
Yorktown, VA

The booking portal is closed, saying they are adding more appointments, as of my 5 am check. It usually opens between 6 and 7 am.
